After Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s announcement relating to extra compensation for homes broken in border areas, Union Residence Minister, Amit Shah, allotted a further Rs 25 crore for the two,060 affected houses, from the Ministry of Residence Affairs.
Beforehand, Modi declared monetary help for homes broken by Pakistani shelling within the border districts of Jammu and Kashmir put up Operation Sindoor, based on the press launch by Ministry of Residence Affairs.
Modi introduced extra compensation of Rs 2 lakh every for absolutely broken home and Rs 1 lakh for partially broken home. Comparable compensation may also be offered within the border areas of Punjab, the discharge stated.
