The wheat sowing space has elevated by 1.38% to 320 lakh hectares within the ongoing rabi season, in line with the agriculture ministry knowledge launched on Monday.

The final part of wheat planting is underway and the crop could be harvest-ready by April.
Agriculture Minister Shivaraj Singh Chouhan, in a gathering with officers, assessed the progress of the rabi sowing, and climate circumstances. He additionally carried out a pest surveillance through the Nationwide Pest Surveillance System.
