(Reuters) – Walgreens Boots Alliance (NASDAQ:) agreed to pay $106.8 million to settle charges it billed the U.S. authorities for prescriptions which were under no circumstances disbursed, the Division of Justice acknowledged on Friday.
The Justice Division acknowledged that from 2009 to 2020, Walgreens submitted false claims for price to Medicare, Medicaid and completely different federal effectively being care packages for prescriptions it processed nevertheless which have been under no circumstances picked up.
