The College of Hyderabad (UoH) has acquired a grant of ₹5 crore from Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) for the institution of a Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Digital Twin Expertise. The grant falls underneath HAL’s Company Social Duty (CSR) programme.

The proposal was conceptualised by UoH Professors Samrat Sabat and Siba Udgata, with key contributions from M. Ghanashyam Krishna. Sabat will lead the implementation of the mission on the AI analysis Cluster underneath the IoE Interdisciplinary Centre.
The centre is envisioned to advertise cutting-edge analysis, interdisciplinary collaboration, and capability constructing in digital twin methods, that are more and more essential to sectors like aerospace, healthcare, manufacturing, and sensible infrastructure.
