The UAE allegedly put NSO’s Pegasus spyware and adware on the telephone of an official within the workplace of UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson in 10 Downing Road, Residents Lab on the College of Toronto stories.
In line with “The New Yorker” journalist Ronan Farrow, the spyware and adware was used to contaminate a tool related to the No. 10 community in July 2020.
The infiltration was thought to have been ordered by the UAE authorities, though British cybersecurity officers, who checked and cleared Johnson’s cellphone, by no means discovered whose machine it was.

“After we discovered the No. 10 case, my jaw dropped,” stated John Scott-Railton, a senior researcher on the Toronto-based Citizen Lab, which has been monitoring using Pegasus. The Israeli agency NSO has since blocked use of the software program towards US or UK numbers.
