Landry, named to the function final month, had been invited to attend a sled canine race in March. Now, the Greenland Canine Sledding Affiliation (KNQK) says the invitation, which was made by a non-public tourism group, has been withdrawn.
In a press release posted on Fb, KNQK ― which had beforehand denounced Landry’s deliberate attendance on the occasion as “wholly inappropriate” ― known as the withdrawal “reassuring.”
Trump wished to “purchase” Greenland throughout his first time period, and has grown more and more vocal about it throughout his second, saying earlier this month that he plans to “do one thing in Greenland, whether or not they prefer it or not.”
