Taiwan stocks lower at close of trade; Taiwan Weighted down 0.88% By Investing.com

Investing.com – Taiwan shares have been decrease after the shut on Friday, as losses within the , and sectors led shares decrease.

On the shut in Taiwan, the fell 0.88%.

One of the best performers of the session on the have been Fortune Oriental Co Ltd (TW:), which rose 9.96% or 1.35 factors to commerce at 14.90 on the shut. In the meantime, AzureWave Applied sciences Inc (TW:) added 9.95% or 5.60 factors to finish at 61.90 and Anji Know-how Co Ltd (TW:) was up 9.95% or 2.80 factors to 30.95 in late commerce.

The worst performers of the session have been EZconn Corp (TW:), which fell 7.85% or 51.00 factors to commerce at 599.00 on the shut. Hiwin Applied sciences Corp (TW:) declined 6.23% or 20.50 factors to finish at 308.50 and Chung Fu Tex-Worldwide Corp (TW:) was down 6.15% or 2.20 factors to 33.60.

Falling shares outnumbered advancing ones on the Taiwan Inventory Trade by 0 to 0.

Shares in AzureWave Applied sciences Inc (TW:) rose to 5-year highs; up 9.95% or 5.60 to 61.90.

Crude oil for February supply was up 0.16% or 0.12 to $73.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities buying and selling, Brent oil for supply in March rose 0.11% or 0.08 to hit $76.01 a barrel, whereas the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.18% or 4.82 to commerce at $2,673.82 a troy ounce.

USD/TWD was up 0.06% to 32.93, whereas TWD/CNY unchanged 0.05% to 0.22.

The US Greenback Index Futures was down 0.21% at 108.98.
