TAIPEI: Taiwan’s defence ministry stated on Tuesday they’ve a full grasp of army actions close to Taiwan and can appropriately dispatch forces in response to “enemy threats” as tensions rise with China.
The ministry stated in a press release that it has the “willpower, capability and confidence” to make sure Taiwan’s nationwide safety, including it has made varied unspecified plans for an emergency.
Earlier on Tuesday, a number of Chinese language warplanes flew near the median line of the delicate Taiwan Strait, a supply briefed on the matter instructed Reuters, as tensions mounted on information US Home of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi was set to go to Taiwan throughout the day.
