Taiwan deploys anti-drone guns to offshore islands — RT World News

The Taiwanese army introduced the deployment of anti-drone weapons to the offshore islands of Kinmen and Matsu on Friday, following a number of UAV incursions allegedly coming from the Chinese language mainland.

Kinmen and Matsu are teams of small islands within the Taiwan Strait, managed by Taipei however situated nearer to the Chinese language shoreline.

The Taiwanese army stated the troops had been handed anti-drone weapons as a part of its versatile method to tackling incoming threats.

The units jam the frequency utilized by the bottom station to attach with the UAV, inflicting the plane to spin uncontrolled and crash.

Taiwan has reported a number of incursions by drones this week, and accused China of sending them to “undermine peace and stability.”
