The Southern African regional bloc has stated it would conclude its troop deployment within the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), having selected a “phased withdrawal”.

Leaders from the 16-nation Southern African Growth Group (SADC) – which has misplaced at the least a dozen troopers within the jap DRC since January – held a digital summit on Thursday to debate the continued battle in an space that has seen three many years of unrest.
