Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a high-level assembly on Sunday with high authorities functionaries, together with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Exterior Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, a day after India and Pakistan reached an understanding to cease navy actions.
NSA Ajit Doval, Chief of Defence Employees Normal Anil Chauhan and all three service chiefs have been amongst those that attended the assembly.
India had accused Pakistan of violating the phrases of the understanding on Saturday night time and requested it to take “acceptable steps” to deal with these violations and take care of the scenario with “seriousness and accountability”.
The scenario has since cooled down though residents in a number of border areas proceed to reside in a state of apprehension following days of shelling and drone incidents.
