Newsom Calls Trump A ‘Punch-Drunk Boxer’ For Lashing Out At Supreme Court Over Tariffs Ruling

California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) accused President Donald Trump of flailing after he admonished the U.S. Supreme Court docket for hanging down his sweeping tariffs final week.

On Friday, the court docket dominated Trump didn’t have the emergency energy to impose the sweeping tariffs, prompting him to signal an government order Friday evening stating he might bypass Congress and impose a ten% tax on international imports. Then on Saturday, Trump posted on Reality Social that he was elevating the worldwide tariff to fifteen%.
