The second stage of the Victorian authorities’s AU$73 million spend was introduced on Monday, with 50 suburbs throughout Victoria being named for upgrades.
Over two years to mid-2024, 34,000 residences and seven,700 companies will be capable to get upgrades to full fibre by putting an order or being on 100Mbps connection, with the primary capable of place orders from mid-2023.

In August when the deal was introduced, the pair introduced 11 enterprise fibre zones that coated 10,000 companies in Benalla, Colac, Cranbourne South, Dromana, Hamilton, Lara, Pakenham North, Pakenham South, Portland, Warragul, and Wonthaggi-Inverloch.
On Monday, 5 extra zones have been added in Loch Sport, Alfredton, Buninyong, Rockbank/Mt Cottrell, and Tarneit.
