Maruti Suzuki, India’s prime carmaker by gross sales, posted first-quarter revenue above market expectations on Wednesday, helped by rising demand for its sport utility autos (SUV).
The ‘Brezza’ SUV producer’s standalone revenue for the April-June quarter grew 47% to ₹3,650 crore , topping analysts’ estimates of ₹3,320 crore, per LSEG knowledge.
