LIC Launches Special Campaign To Revive Lapsed Policies

Insurance coverage behemoth Life Insurance coverage Company of India (LIC) on Friday introduced the launch of a two-month-long marketing campaign for the revival of particular person lapsed insurance policies.

This particular drive, to be carried out from Jan. 1 to March 2, 2026, is prolonged to all non-linked insurance policies with a really engaging concession in late charge.

Concession is being provided in late charge for all non-linked insurance coverage as much as 30%

of the late charge, as much as a most quantity of Rs 5,000, if eligible for revival, LIC stated in an announcement.

There’s a 100% waiver of late charge for micro insurance coverage insurance policies to facilitate inexpensive restoration of danger cowl, it stated.

Insurance policies that are in a lapsed situation through the premium-paying time period and never accomplished coverage time period are eligible to be revived on this marketing campaign, it stated.

There are not any concessions on medical/well being necessities, it stated.

The marketing campaign is launched for the good thing about policyholders who weren’t in a position to pay premiums on time as a result of any unfavourable circumstances, it stated.

Insurance policies have to be saved in pressure to get full insurance coverage advantages, it stated.
