Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the added 0.91% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the were Harel (TASE:), which rose 3.25% or 107.00 points to trade at 3,402.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:) added 3.15% or 235.00 points to end at 7,698.00 and OPKO Health Inc (TASE:) was up 2.63% or 16.90 points to 658.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Energix (TASE:), which fell 7.25% or 100.00 points to trade at 1,280.00 at the close. Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:) declined 2.44% or 105.00 points to end at 4,200.00 and OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:) was down 1.52% or 66.00 points to 4,270.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 289 to 187 and 27 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.79% or 0.70 to $88.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.86% or 0.82 to hit $94.22 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.04% or 17.30 to trade at $1,648.30 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.38% to 3.53, while EUR/ILS rose 0.41% to 3.52.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 110.54.
