Intel names tech veteran Lip-Bu Tan as its next CEO

Intel has named tech veteran Lip-Bu Tan the corporate’s subsequent chief government officer, the corporate mentioned Wednesday. He’ll take over on March 18, Intel mentioned.

Tan will succeed Michelle Johnston Holthaus and David Zinsner, the 2 executives who had served as co-chief government officers within the wake of former CEO Pat Gelsinger’s departure. Each will stay with the corporate.
