Commemorative cash celebrating 50 years of Iron Maiden have been launched by the Royal Mint.
The heavy steel band are becoming a member of different acts within the Royal Mint’s “music legends” cash sequence – which has additionally celebrated the likes of Queen, Sir Elton John and David Bowie.
Crafted by Iron Maiden artist Albert “Akirant” Quirantes, the design of the brand new cash options the band’s mascot Eddie in a dynamic pose.
“Hidden” references have been included within the packaging and design of the cash, spotlighting varied albums and excursions for eagle-eyed followers.
With 17 studio albums created over time, Iron Maiden have gathered a loyal fanbase from world wide.

Costs for the Iron Maiden coin begin at £18.50 for a superb uncirculated £5 denomination coin and £29.50 for a color model.
