The pinnacle of the Hamas political wing, Ismail Haniyeh and certainly one of his bodyguards have been killed after their residence was focused in Tehran, Iranian information company Mehr stated on Tuesday, citing a press release the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC).
Haniyeh had been within the Iranian capital because the nation’s new president Masoud Pezeshkian was sworn in.
Hamas have positioned the blame on Israel. Hineyeh was killed on Tuesday morning after a “treacherous assault of the Zionists on his residence,” Mehr wrote, citing a press release from the militant group. Haniyeh, the pinnacle of the Hamas political workplace and certainly one of his bodyguards died because of this, they stated.
The IRGC stated that investigation into the incident is ongoing.
