Zambia’s former President Edgar Lungu has died on the age of 68, his get together has stated in a press release.
He had “been receiving specialised therapy in South Africa” for an undisclosed sickness, the Patriotic Entrance stated confirming the information.
Lungu led Zambia for six years from 2015, dropping the election to the present President Hakainde Hichilema by a big margin.
After that defeat he stepped again from politics however later returned to the fray and appeared to have ambitions to run for the presidency once more.
