Fed chair Jerome Powell said “…it is very premature to think about or talk about pausing rate hikes…we have a long way to go…we need on going rate hikes to get to the level of sufficiently restrictive…we don’t really know where that is…”
There has been so many posts and articles about Fed’s “pivot” and my interpretation is that Fed chair Jerome Powell is saying the complete opposite during the conference.
