Facebook and TikTok are approving ads with ‘blatant’ misinformation about voting in midterms, researchers say

Since nobody mentioned it yet. I’ll save you the click. The ads with misinformation were submitted by the researchers themselves and then retracted after approval but before being published.

I do not and will never have a TikTok account and barely use Facebook. If you want to argue that both are terrible, I am not going to disagree with you. But this is click baity fear mongering at best.

No reference to actual published misinformation or an explanation of what misinformation they themselves submitted for context.
