Donald Trump Jr. Slams Media For Going ‘Totally Silent’ After Teenager is Killed For Being a ‘Republican Extremist’

Donald Trump Jr. blasted the mainstream media for going “totally silent” after a North Dakota man hit a teenager with his vehicle, killing him, in what authorities have revealed was a politically motivated attack because the man believed the victim to be a “Republican extremist.”

The Political Insider reported that 41-year-old Shannon Brandt struck and killed 18-year-old Cayler Ellingson because he believed the teenager “was part of a Republican extremist group.”

But the mainstream media hasn’t been quite as diligent in reporting the case.

“Joe Biden smears Republicans as extremists & fascists,” Trump Jr. wrote. “Dem Senate candidate Tim Ryan calls on people to ‘kill & confront’ Republicans.”

“Some nut listens to their violent rhetoric & admits that he murdered someone for being a Republican … And the leftwing media is totally silent!”

(To be clear, Ryan’s rhetoric wasn’t that extreme – he said “Some of those answers will come from Republicans, not the extremists that we are dealing with every single day, we’ve got to kill and confront that movement, but working with normal mainstream Republicans, that’s going to be really, really important.”)

Teenager Killed For Being a Republican

While there is no definitive link between the rhetoric from Biden and Ryan, the media have never found themselves concerned with actual evidence when it came to any of Trump Jr.’s father’s rhetoric.

Come to think of it, the North Dakota case bears a striking resemblance to the woman who was run over by a white nationalist during dueling protests in Charlottesville in 2017.

And we all know what the media did with that horrific case, creating a complete hoax about what Trump said at the time.

President Biden delivered a speech earlier this month in which he vilified “MAGA Republicans” as extremists and a “threat to this country.”

Media Blackout

Executive Editor of NewsBusters Tim Graham reports that the media has remained silent on the case of the North Dakota teenager being killed because his attacker believed him to be a ‘Republican extremist.’

“While the Fox News Channel and Newsmax both started reporting this story on the evening of September 20, NewsBusters found zero coverage on ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, and MSNBC,” Graham writes.

“How about our taxpayer-funded PBS and NPR? Zero coverage. The New York Times and The Washington Post had nothing.”

Democrats are somehow never violent. https://t.co/AAPIZPreaQ

Even when they did make mention of the teenager being killed, they somehow managed to leave out certain details.

The Associated Press, for example, somehow managed to forget the little detail about the alleged assailant having been motivated by the fact that he felt the teenager was a “Republican extremist.”

Neither word appears in their report.

CBS News couldn’t be bothered to provide such details either.

Amazing: CBS News does a 400-word write up of the ND nut who ran down and killed a teenager over a political argument without mentioning he told police he thought the teen was a Republican “political extremist.”https://t.co/zSfqiNxKyc

Officials have said there is no evidence to support Brandt’s claim that the teenager was, in reality, a Republican extremist. But the fact that he believed that to be the case seems to be a motivating factor in the attack.

Brandt has already been freed from jail, despite admitting to running over Ellingson with his vehicle. Fox reports that Brandt posted a $50,000 bond and was released from Stutsman County Jail.

How many Capitol rioters were held in prison for months without bail or bond for doing far less?
