While there are certainly things end-users can do to mitigate climate change (and, lord knows, I try), when just 100 public companies are responsible for 71% of emissions (and 13 companies in five industries in three nations account for almost half), then it’s very clearly an industrial problem.
Chasing short-term profits is silly too. The largest emitters are dirty mining ops and fossil fuels. They’re looking at a net loss of $2 trillion over the next decade by not modernizing, diversifying, or divesting.
