The Tata Group promoted Air India Categorical on Monday diverted its Doha-bound flights following Iran’s army strikes on US bases in Qatar.
Accordingly, the airline’s Kochi to Doha flight was diverted to Muscat, whereas the flight certain from Kannur to Doha returned.
At current, the continued state of affairs within the Center East has tensed up following Iran’s retaliation to the US air strikes.
The flare-up has led to the suspension of Qatar’s airspace for industrial aviation.
“We’ve got no different flights certain for Qatar. Air India Categorical has no plane on the bottom in Qatar,” an Air India Categorical spokesperson stated.
“We’re monitoring the state of affairs carefully and can take all needed precautions for the protection and safety of our company and crew, with inputs from the related authorities.”
