Adani Group-led Ambuja Cements announces Rs 1,600 cr investment for cement grinding unit in Bihar

Adani Group-led Ambuja Cements on Saturday it’ll make investments Rs 1,600 crore to arrange a 6 MTPA capability Warisaliganj Cement Grinding Unit in Bihar. It could be its first enterprise in Bihar. The mission may have three phases. The primary part of two.4 MTPA will see an funding of Rs 1,100 crore and is focused to be commissioned by December 2025.

The Bihar Industrial Space Improvement Authority (BIADA) has allotted 67.9 acres of land for the cement unit. The corporate has confirmed that they’ve acquired the required environmental clearance for the mission. The unit is anticipated to start operations by December 2025.

Moreover, BIADA has designated 26.6 acres of land to Amubja Cements for an additional cement unit inside the industrial space of Mahbal, Motipur, Muzaffarpur. The corporate talked about that the environmental clearance for this mission is at present in progress and building is anticipated to start quickly.

Within the Finances 2024, FM Nirmala Sitharaman introduced to sanction Rs 58,900 crore to Bihar, which incorporates Rs 26,000 crore for street tasks, together with the Patna-Purnia Expressway and the Buxar-Bhagalpur Expressway, a 2,400-MW energy plant at a value of Rs 21,400 crore in Pirpainti and Rs 11,500 crore for flood combating.
