Rightnow we have 3 quarters of aapl earnings and this final quarter earnings gives us the entire 2022 year. The street is estimating something around 89b but what I am showing on the right side is a few different options. So for example: If the quarter has a 5% growth in revenue, that would imply that our entire year revenue growth was about 7%. So that is how this reads.
2. So this chart is showing aapl growth YOY. As you guys can see the trend is looking weaker and
into the single digit revenue growth
3. These tables are showing AAPL Net income broken down into quarters and year. Take a look at
2020 net income vs 2021 net income. Massive massive gains also amazing how in the last 3
quarters, aapl has surpassed their 2021 net income
4. This next chart shows several data points on PE multiples with outliers removed As you can see,
we are well above what the average is
People pay high PE multiples for companies that have high revenue growth. What’s concerning to
me is that we’re seeing a clear slowdown in their revenue growth and many headwinds and yet
price is still very strong.
I think there’s nothing wrong with the company, but I think given the macro economic situation, I think investors might be paying too much right now.
Would love to hear the communities thoughts on aapl in general.
