MSNBC’s All In host Chris Hayes likes to pretend that he’s smart by wearing glasses but every time he opens his mouth on his low-rated prime-time show, he proves how dumb he really is. On Wednesday night, Hayes made the absurd claim that if Republicans take control of one or both houses of Congress, they will crash the economy as a way of getting revenge against President Biden. Putting aside the fact that Biden and the Democrat-controlled Congress already beat the GOP to crashing the economy, it’s crazy to accuse Republicans of being so unpatriotic that they would purposefully hurt their fellow Americans for political gain
Hayes started by noting that the 2022 “midterms [are] only 27 days away,” and that “Republicans appear to think they have the advantage on the economy.”
“Big part of that is just the party that’s out of power because the party that is out of power doesn’t have the White House will typically run against the status quo and right now a big part of the status quo is inflation. People don’t like it,” Hayes reasoned.

After noting that “according to the latest tracking poll, the economy is the number one issue people would like to hear candidates talk about, ahead of abortion and immigration,” Hayes claimed that “if the economy is the number one issue to voters, and there is one party that will have an incentive to make it better, & that party is the one that has the presidency, the Democrats.”
Without evidence, Hayes falsely claimed that “the other side, the Republicans have an explicit incentive to make the economy worse.”
“Having covered the Tea Party congress of 2011, amidst the recovery from the financial crisis, I feel confident in predicting that if Republicans win control of one or both houses of Congress, they will do everything in their power to sabotage the economy to best set them up to retake the White House in 2024,” Hayes cried.
Back in reality, the truth is that the only way for the economy to get worse than it already is, is by continuing the tax and spend policies of the last two years.
The leftist media wants you to think the 40-year-high inflation Americans are suffering through was caused by the war in Ukraine or the end of the COVID-19 pandemic.
