BANGKOK: US secretary of state Antony Blinken stated on Sunday that Russia’s restriction on Ukrainian grain exports might have contributed to Sri Lanka’s turmoil and voiced concern it may spur different crises.
“We’re seeing the influence of this Russian aggression enjoying out in all places. It could have contributed to the state of affairs in Sri Lanka; we’re involved in regards to the implications all over the world,” Blinken advised reporters in Bangkok.
