Tech Mahindra share dividend 2022, record date, ex date, payment date announced: Tech Mahindra, NSE: TECHM, has announced a special dividend of Rs 18 per equity share of Rs 5. “Declared Special dividend of Rs. 18/- per equity share of Rs. 5/- each i.e. 360% of the face value,” the company said in an exchange filing on Tuesday.

Tech Mahindra, which is a USD 6 billion organisation, has fixed November 10 as the record date for the payment of interim dividend, if approved by the board.
“Fixed 10th November, 2022 as the Record Date for determining the members entitled to receive the Special Interim dividend,” the company said.
Tech Mahindra Dividend Ex-Date
Tech Mahindra shares dividend ex-date will be November 9. For the uninitiated, an ex-date is a business day prior to the record date. This is the date when stock is traded without the adjustment of the declared dividend. Simply saying, this is the date that helps companies to identify investors who will be eligible for the dividend.
In order to be eligible for the dividend, an investor has to buy shares of the company before the ex-date. This is done to make sure that shares are credited to the Demat account of the investors before the record date.

The company has fixed November 24 as the payment date in order to pay the special dividend to all the shareholders.
“The Special dividend shall be paid on Thursday, 24th November, 2022 to equity shareholders of the Company whose names appear on the Register of Members of the Company or in the records of Depositories as beneficial owners of the shares as on Thursday, 10th November, 2022,” Tech Mahindra said.

Tech Mahindra paid a 900 per cent dividend in the last financial year. The company in the past 12 months, declared an equity dividend, which amounted to Rs 45 per share.

Share of Tech Mahindra quoted a price of Rs 1,067 at around 3:55 pm on Tuesday. Its previous close was Rs 1,063.40 and surged by 0.43 per cent today. The IT stock has given a negative return of 40.16 per cent in year-to-date (YTD) time. The counter hit its 52-week high of Rs 1837.75 apiece on BSE on December 30, 2021 and a 52-week low of Rs 944.10 on June 17, 2022.
