The East Central Railway on Wednesday reported that 17 prepare companies have been disrupted following protest actions by members of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and allied events of the Bihar Mahagathbandhan.

In the meantime, in Telangana, Telangana Jagruthi president Okay. Kavitha introduced on Tuesday {that a} ‘Rail Roko’ protest shall be held throughout the state on July 17, demanding the implementation of 42 per cent reservation for Different Backward Courses (OBCs)—a measure handed earlier this 12 months by the Telangana State Meeting.
