15 more firms selected under PLI scheme for white goods

The federal government on Tuesday stated 15 corporations, together with Adani Copper Tubes, LG Electronics and Wipro Enterprises, with dedicated funding of Rs 1,368 crore have been provisionally chosen as beneficiaries underneath the manufacturing linked incentive (PLI) scheme for the white items sector.

These embrace 6 for manufacturing ACs elements with dedicated investments of Rs 908 crore and 9 for LED Lights elements with dedicated investments of Rs 460 crore. These 15 corporations may have whole manufacturing price Rs 25,583 crore over 5 years and generate extra direct employment of 4,000 individuals.
